Schedules & Guest Parking

Garbage Collection is every Tuesday. Please have your trash ready for pick-up by 9am.  (All recycling must be taken to the Beaufort County Convenience Center.) If the schedule changes due to a holiday, owners will be notified by email, or you can check in EVENTS  on the COMMUNICATION page.

Pest control is scheduled quarterly on either the first Monday or Wednesday of JANUARY, APRIL, JULY and OCTOBER. If you have additional pest issues, please email the property manager.

Garden debris will be picked up bi-weekly on Mondays. Please place debris in designated areas along Devil’s Elbow Lane on Sunday afternoon for Monday removal by Moss Creek’s maintenance department. We are on the Marshwinds debris pickup schedule, (Zone 2), per the Moss Creek Owners Association website and the schedule. Note: If you do any extra trimming around your cottage you are responsible for moving the cuttings for pick up. Please do not place debris roadside any sooner than Sunday afternoon but no later than 7am on the Monday of your scheduled pick-up week. Depending on volume, it may take staff up to Wednesday to pick up your debris.

Debris must be placed in the designated areas only:

SMC #101-110 and #111-116:  Place debris in open area behind

#111-112 close to Devil's Elbow Lane.

SMC #117-123 and #124-129: Place debris at entrance to #117-123 on

open area closest to #137.

SMC #130-136 and #137-142: Place debris just past mailboxes 137-142.

Remember this only applies to shrub cuttings, garden debris, Christmas trees or potted plants. No containers or planters will be picked-up.

1. If you have guests coming that will occupy more than your two allotted spaces, reach out to your neighbors in advance and ask if you can use their parking space. Many owners are only here part time, so this may be a good solution depending on how long your guest is staying and which pod you are in.

2. Parking between the hours of 8:00 pm and 8:00 am: You can use the overflow parking at the clubhouse, including the spaces along Devil's Elbow Lane by the Golf Cottages. Please alert Moss Creek Security if the car will be there overnight.

3. Parking between the hours of 8:00 am and 8:00 pm: Due to golf and club events during these hours of operation, you'll need to park in the overflow parking at tennis courts.   Please alert Moss Creek Security as to how long your guest will be there.
